Oliver is my buddy boy. According to him, life is not okay unless he can see me. Well, unless he's in the field, he's full speed ahead out there! There is nothing he enjoys more than birdwork and a good run. Happily we live just minutes from a field trial grounds where we often come across wild grouse, woodcock and pheasant. He's also a bit of clown, and never ceases to make me laugh.
Oliver was shown lightly as he matured, picking up a 5 point major at just 10 months old, as well a few singles. He finished easily taking his second major at the CNEBC Specialty Show and his last few points two days later at the supported entry. At 19 1/2 inches he's a bit smaller than the majority of males we come across in the show ring, but despite this he is a multi-best of breed winner. Though not shown often anymore, he is fun and easy to work with and I always enjoy my time with him in the ring. What Oliver enjoys most however, is our time in the field. Whether in the ring, field or on the couch, Oliver exemplifies all the wonderful qualities in a Brittany.
