Puppy Policy
The first step to becoming part of the New Horizon family is to fill out a puppy application. This allows me to get an idea of what you are looking for and if I may have a puppy that will be a good fit for your home. I follow this up with a phone interview, only after which a person is placed on the waiting list (I do not carrry a "running" list but keep lists for specific planned breedings). I do require a face to face meeting prior to the day your puppy goes home, the majority of people chose to do this during their puppy visit after they turn 4 weeks of age.
A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required when a litter is born. If I inform you that there is no longer a puppy for your home, I will return that deposit in full. I reserve the right to refuse sale of any puppy at any time and for any reason.
The cost of one of our puppies is $2000, and they are sold under contract and with a health guarentee. Both sire and dam will be proven in some venue, either show or field (adult field trial placements or hunt test titled), and will conform to the Brittany breed standard. In addition, both sire and dam will have passing OFA hip ratings at a minimum to help reduce the chances of your puppy developing canine hip dysplasia. We microchip all of our puppies with pre-paid AKC Reunite chips that will have both my information and yours, for extra peace of mind.
